Meet Marie

ICF Member & Sports Massage Therapist

Truly effective coaching cannot be applied using one discipline or approach. The fact is that most individuals are exactly that, individual. This means the Arpeggio approach is truthful transparency for each individual as to our mandate and their goals. The Arpeggio coaching style is holistic, values-based and emphasizes a person holistically.

A dynamic, energetic and a focused listener with a natural ability to guide clients using a safe and thought-provoking approach I am intent on offering professionalism and honesty as standard. Arpeggio Consulting assists all clients in reaching their potential whether it be for executive or personal coaching, interpersonal development or a rejuvenating sports massage.

While the Arpeggio approach focuses on a variety of offerings, my speciality area is in working with thought patterns and interpersonal behaviour, understanding that behavioural change comes about as a result of a synthesis of insight, understanding, choices and self-discovery.

Why Marie?

I am ‘’on fire’’ when I work with people – whether this is in an individual or team context. I love connecting the dots, and being intentional and deliberate in allowing people to become the best version of themselves.

I am drawn to assisting individuals who are in particular need of a ‘breakthrough’, to reach their potential. I’ve had success with young adults who see themselves as “different”, “difficult”, “stubborn” or “challenging”. My approach is based on really “seeing” the person behind the façade. Together we can cut through to what is really holding them back. My approach is entirely based on gut instinct, genuine interest and concern, and a knack for honing in on an individual’s truth.

I love to work with small teams. I focus on the fact that any team is made up of complex individuals and to this end, I focus on each individual fully understanding themselves and growing in their personal capacity. This always results in a positive outcome for the team as a whole.

I am always up for a challenge. I push myself hard, both physically and mentally and I am not afraid to tackle tough conversations, or respectfully and carefully, help an individual to notice and then make the shifts that lead to more balanced individuals and leaders.

I naturally find myself championing individuals. I do this ‘from the trenches’ as opposed to across a desk. I have an instinct for identifying potential and talent and am able to motivate people to go further than they thought they could. In a leadership context, I am collaborative in driving decisions forward and ensuring that everyone is on board.

My work and coaching philosophy is based on the essence of being PURE.  The significance of the word embodies both my approach and the desired outcomes for my clients: honesty, respect, fresh starts, uncomplicated, ethical, and authentic. The impact is that I bring passion, creativity, enthusiasm, a level of fearlessness, empathy and connection, while being able to think strategically, thus also applying an integrated and holistic approach.

Sports Massage

I am dedicated to helping every client achieve their best. If that means that I participate in challenges with them then so be it. I cannot effectively coach and encourage if I am not willing to apply the same principles in my own life and career. I would want a coach who 'practices what they preach'
